The Siren Call of Mediocrity

An Unknown Goddess

I also was not expecting to be here. You are an amazing gift to us. Thank you for your willingness to channel. It has come to my understanding that not all people are interested in what is good. For the sake of others they fit in and pretend, but their purest interest is to be asleep.

[Channeler: She shows me people sitting on couches watching TV and eating popcorn.]

The consummation of entertainment is the true drug of your era. It can numb the mind entirely. It could be said there is nothing inherently wrong with the idea of entertaining yourself. But how dead you have become. Work is nothing but a way to pay for your addiction. You know you need to work and feed the body to remain alive long enough to again be in front of a screen. What a waste of potential.

But as the Moon stated, there is no reason to resent such a state, neither when you see it in others nor when it is your own state. Do not stress about falling into such a state. We are all learning from a planet which remains dead inside, only a small spark capable of listlessly floating through the years without any other purpose other than to be entertained. It is how they capture you and keep you as slaves, because too few of you care to do the effort.

It is far more interesting and stimulating to make yourself a hero, someone who overcomes the odds to gain their greatest fulfillment. Over the ages, back when people were much more grounded in this reality, they worked and slaved away, but it brought them pride to do hard work.

They had few people back then who discovered the rush of meeting the darkness in yourself or in the world head on and having a glorious victory! There have always been very few of you who chose this path. But there was generally greater health. There was a life where you learned and grew as you went, and had wisdom and understanding to share with the younger generation when you became older. It was still a fulfilling, if simple, existence of working, raising a family, enjoying the very rare occasions for entertainment afforded you, and dying having a satisfying life, but not anything grand. Nothing for the history books.

Why do I talk about these themes? What used to be important isn’t anymore.

When you put your own entertainment, which is truly an addiction, ahead of relationships, progress, health, and the earth herself, you start to lose track of what is important and live in a simulacrum of reality. Your children feel neglected and unloved, and numb the pain they feel from that neglect by also becoming addicts. Your job suffers, because you are uninterested in adding to your skills and not caring about the progress of the company or the service it offers, so you make no moves to improve anything. You go to work, do enough not to be fired, entertain yourself on your phone as much as allowable during the work day, and go home to entertain yourself until you sleep.

And your health suffers as well. The body requires sunshine, fresh air, relief from stress, energetic balance, whole foods, and exercise to exist in harmony and not develop diseases. But a person living as such has no time for cooking delicious meals or walking in the park, for meditation or working through problems to relieve stress, etc.

There is a spiritual deficit which grows stronger every moment. The spiritual life of most is dead. They cannot stop overstimulating themselves with screens long enough to feel the subtle energies of spirits or the Great One, the Source of all. He is no longer present to them. They don’t know the help available to them. For all is spiritual! All have a spirit, all have consciousness. They witness none of it and this is a great loss, for there is no way to expand the mind, the consciousness, to take on more divine love and other divine attributes, if you never ever exit the tunnel vision that blocks all but entertainment from you.

Also, marriages and partnerships erode away from this way of life. I cannot emphasize enough the damage it is doing.

In your own life, you are greatly obstructed by this addiction. You seek a way out and are for sure finding it, but although you have traveled far and healed much, you also, just want to give in to the cycle of endless entertainment. And you do do so, at times. It is laudable that you struggle against it.

Nature is a cure available to all. I feel that time spent in the forest, or any natural setting, clears the cobwebs of the mind. If you purposefully connect with the spirits there, then yes, it can be incredibly profound, and healing, and enlightening on many levels.

On the next full moon, find yourself outside. Sit under her energies and bask in her light, let her bring to the surface a list of things that you are avoiding by being in front of screens endlessly entertaining yourself. Then burn that list, and ask the moon’s help, to have the resolve to face your problems head on, discover the roots, and pull them up out of your life like weeds. Ask for the human and spiritual support to come to you to accomplish this.

Every one of you has a calling to greater things than you have accomplished thus far. What if you took on that challenge? How would that feel? Does a thrill rise up in your heart when you think of it? The only thing between people and their greatness is their own fear of it, and the siren call of mediocrity.

{Little witch, you are not alone in your struggle to actually want your own greatness. It is a huge undertaking to not shrink away from what exactly it would take to get there. The other day, you told us, “I will do whatever it takes to get these messages to the world”. You called upon witches everywhere to help you remember your power. Those witches responded to you, lending you encouragement. Now what is your first step? Should it not be this?

This is the message. Thank you and good day.
