Mama Luna: Spellweaver

I teach witches how to become creators instead of merely practitioners.

A spellweaver is a witch who understands the architecture of magic deeply enough to create new magical systems rather than merely inherit old ones. I am a spellweaver who creates modern systems of practical magic by integrating astrology, tarot, and historical magical traditions into practical tools that empower witches to craft their own spells. I am currently building a collection of books, divination tools, and companion apps that make complex magical systems accessible and usable.

My Mission

My greatest joy is passing along that living, breathing art called witchcraft to new practitioners by giving them first-hand experience of it. I want their clairs to blossom so that they can hear, see, feel, and know the spiritual realms. My hope is for the initiate witch to realize the cosmos is as marvelous as they always dreamed it could be: with worlds to explore, entities to encounter, and miracles to call into being all at their fingertips.

My Philosophy of Magic

Magic is taking the reins and daring to tell the universe where to go.

Magic is experiential. Rather than a dry, lifeless, formulaic system of ritual, timing, and incantation, it is alive. We can collect together tomes of archaic spells, place perfectly every item required, and wait for the precious auspicious day and hour, but if we don’t know how to make it come to life, it is useless.

Magic is an encounter of being fully aware in a cosmos both dangerous and wondrous. When you cast a spell, it should feel like a risk. A thrill should move through you, an uncanny sense that you’ve just touched something surreal, something extraordinary.

Magic is using both natural and supernatural means to enact our will. It is knowing that we are co-creators with the universe at a visceral level. It is acting upon our reality as a creator. But if we have not dared to touch what is beyond the veil, it is no better than a candle in the wind. It is like a hope and a prayer from someone who believes hopes and prayers seldom come true.

Traditional Magic Systems

Although there are many ancient occult texts, schools of metaphysical thought, and traditional esoteric paths to follow, I don’t ascribe to any one as my sole source of truth. The traditions uplift and support my path, but they do not decide it.

I believe every tradition contains profound insights. Rather than treating any single tradition as complete, I enjoy studying how different systems illuminate one another and applying what proves meaningful to my craft.

We come from Truth itself, so at a certain level, we recognize it. It may take on different names, faces, and turns of phrase, but in every case, it is the Divine revealing to its creation the core nature of all things.

Instead, I search for how I can make those traditions come alive. In the case of astrology, I use intuition, my clairs, and communication with spirits to help read each and every chart. In other words, I invite in the magic, the wonder, and the marvelous to participate with me in my craft. Whether I am practicing astrology, tarot, hypnosis, pendulum work, ceremony, dreamwalking, spellcasting, lunar magic, or angel magic, I seek to invite wonder, intuition, and direct spiritual experience into every craft.

Learn Spellweaving

Every witch and magic user has the ability to spellweave, but few dare to embrace it.

Instead of relying on systems previously imagined, I chose to weave spells and systems of my own. Magic systems of the past were created by those who knew this fact, and the only difference between a spellweaver then and one now is a bit of time.

By understanding the energies present in the tools, the power in having certainty, and how to direct your will through both, you can create your own magic. As you grow, heal, and awaken, your power grows with you. With the building blocks provided by tradition and the Earth herself, and with the support of the spirit guides who walk with you, anything you dream is possible.
